The MEDISTAX® family of power supplies provides an incredible 1200W of modular and configurable power in an extremely compact 1U high (40mm) package with up to 12 isolated outputs.

Employing an innovative plug & play architecture the MEDISTAX® units combine feature-laden front-end Power Units combined with slide-in output converter modules, that allows configuration of a custom power solution in less than 5 minutes.

Medically Approved, all configurations carry full safety agency approvals including UL2601-1, EN60601-1 and are CE marked. Ultra high efficiencies of over 90% significantly reduces system thermal load and an industry leading 15W/in3 power density provides a compact and versatile power solution. Less than 300µA leakage current and 4000VAC isolation plus the MM1U is available in 4 and 6 slot versions.

The Powerstax MM series provides single and multiple output power solutions for medical applications. The Pre-approved units reduce costly safety agency approval and shortens design time and dramatically reduces your time-to-market.

Incorporating Class B Conducted emissions performance, whilst meeting the rigorous Earth leakage requirements, The MM series is suitable for a wide range of Medical, laboratory and dental applications, such as drug infusion, chemical analysis equipment and provides an unparalleled solution for system designers.

With 46,656 possible output configurations and up to 8 isolated and adjustable outputs, the Powerstax MM series is a flexible, cost effective solution to your exact power architecture requirements.

Enhanced leakage current versions are available with Earth leakage of less than 150uA.

The Powerstax MM series is offered in 2 mechanical formats, the MM4 (270 x 127 x 65mm) supplies 4 slots of up t o 600 watts and the MM6 (270 x 187 x 65mm) provides up to 1000 watts in 6 slots. With high quality screw terminal connections for AC input and DC output modules, it is possible to individually margin, enable, parallel or stack the outputs to provide literally millions of power solutions.

Powerstax provides a wide range of transformers both standard and custom, including items designed and tested for low leakage currents to meet the requirements of EN60601 and BSEN61558-2-15.

Also available are class 2 transformers, UL 60601-1 medical certified transformers, current, toroid, and AC & DC switch mode with configurations of horizontal and vertical pc board or chassis mount.
